A short summary:
They like it for the most part. They like the no lift shift and launch control and the power. They also like the handling and brakes, but of course comment on the crappy interior, which is understandable since that is where Chevy skimped to keep the price low. All in all a favorable review.

Top Gear, its a british car show. They tend to find nothing good about american cars and find everything right about european cars. Its quite comical though, and they race some nice cars around the track.
Funny thing is, i watched one show and they where ranting about how this austrailian car was so awsome and that the caddy CTS was not as good. The funny thing about the ausy car was it was a Holden. So it was GM. lol

Yeah they do rip on American cars but it's party of the comedy of the show, they do the same for French cars. However if you listen they usually have a lot of good things to say about American cars like the Vette, Viper, etc etc. They just hate the fit and finish and refinement and that is where America is way behind. For example with the Z06 he talked about how awesome of a car it was and how it just tore up the track, then he said it was filled with plastic and he'd rather have the regular C6 for daily driving.
The problem is Americans hear that and go "OH MY GOD HE HATES AMERICA HE SUCKS AND SHOULD DIE!" When in reality he's just exaggerating the truth a bit.
I think his review of the SS/TC would be identical to that of the Vette. Great engine, fun to drive, good handling, rubbish interior.
