How To Change Door Armrest Fabric (Removing Armrest)

    As requested here it is.

First and formost I nor LCN is responsible for you ...messing up or damaging your car.

    Ok now to start...

    First youll need these items

    *A philips screw driver
    *A Flat head screw driver
*A Head Gun (Lots of gun sticks)
    *A Razor
*Fabric of choice (I chose red this time)
    *

    First take off the doors

On the doors there are two screws on the armrest unscrew those screw

And where the door handle is theres one screw unscrew it

On the side of the door theres two plugs remove those

After just put the flat head under and pry up alittle and remove GENTLE LIKE!!!!

    --------------------------------------------------------------
On the back there are spots that are basically melted to keep the armrest on, So your gonna have to slitely cut the top off but make sure theres still the plastic piece where you can place it back threw the armrest holes
(*Another way is to use a mini flame torch, I did the first time and you put it there for 2 sec and melt it loose but as i said I AM NOR LCN ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MISTAKES!!!)

Once off itll look like this

After you have removed the armrest peel off the fabric

Now grab your fabric and fabric adhesive.
Measure how much you need and use the razor to cut how big you need once cut prepare to add it to the armrest.

Theres many ways to do this so do this how you feel comfortable.
I placed the fabric in the middle and rolled it up to the top makin sure it was smooth and the same with the bottom. Once done it should look like this.

Do the same wit the rest and wala

After there nicely secure and on the armrest use the razor and cut from the opposite side (Under) and cut the holes out for your window attachments

Now time to place back in the door.
Remember the holes that sit inside the door. you have to cut around the holes on the armrest so you can fit it on I had to cut some like this picture
(This Is the old fabric picture but as you can see in the new pic i just cut all the way around just enough to get the top of the hole)

dont worry if you think it will show just make sure you cut enough for the door piece to go threw it.
once you placed it in get your heat gun.
press the armrest threw and make sure its secure and use the heat gun and glue the armrest on as such

Then do it all the way around

once done look and see your greatness

Now Place back on the car

and reinstall the door and look how marvelous it looks

Now thats a sexy armrest Huh
    From This

    To This

Well thats it ladies and gents, I explained the best i could and went step my step. If you need any help or advice pleae PM me besides that enjoy
