    Amp and Sub System Power

Ok Guys I wanted to know how much powers comin out your trunk. Heres the deal, make a good short vid of your system and your hardest hitting music and lets see how it handles.
Put up the Amp and brand plus the watts your using
Subs and max watts or rms it handles
and any extra components that are with the amp and subs.
Just a quick vid if your able to or have the time.

    Heres Minez
    Brutis Hiphonics 1500 RMS

    JVC 900 watts

Nice idea but the a video cam recording isnt going to do justice to any system. Honestly they are all going to sound about the same and the only true way to show the difference would be for everyone to use the same sound file and use a decibel meter to gauge the how loud the sound is

yeah but my idea was to physically see how ya subs handle wit your amp and how it looks.

I would also like to add that maybe we should say if the box is ported or not. That does have an effect on sound and how much the sub will handle before distrotion kicks in. also I agree with Biniecki, a camcorders mic just isnt gonna be able to handle the frequencies a sub can push. a movie studio camcorder might be able to, but that is even a shot in hell. easiest way is to use a studio quality mic in addition to a camcorder, granted that isnt easy for most people to setup, but it is a solution to that problem. Lastly, I think that watching a sub is kind of pouintless, it moves back and forth wether its distorting or not, if your tryin to get an idea of how hard or easy a sub is working then watching it an listening will work, but most people dont care about that, they just care that it sounds good.In my opinion the best way to see how a sub handles an Amp, is just to listen to it, or if you have a dB meter measure the power output. I will post a vid of my now modified setup when I am at a high speed internet location, but I also gotta finish unpacking my car first.

put a pedistol on the trunk frame with a glass of water on it so we can see the decible push. be carefull with tha water tho i dont wanna be responsible for any damage from water
if it feels good turn it harder
