ah, I have a love hate relationship with the wing. I keep it on though because I know all the rednecks think it's stupid.

Nice i like the clean look and it helps with the cops, they associate big wings with trouble makers.

Don't any of the Cobalts come with just the little map lights on the bottom of the mirror. If so, thats all I need to hook up the auto-dim/compass/map lights type mirror. Had one on a 93 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon and it was nice. Onstar/sunroof was not needed, just the wire which supplied power to the map lights. All three functions are built into the mirror, and it's supplied with power via a two wire connector. Its just a simple two wire snap connector. Just wondering if the base Cobalt LS has the wire up there just above where the mirror is, tucked up under the headliner? Any of you who have pulled your headliner to paint it or recover it might have noticed it. Guess I'll try my dealer and see if any of the techs know.

My LS doesnt have any lights at all in the rear view mirror, as far as a wire or harness of any kind, I wouldn't know, I would venture a guess at probably not, cause they did remove the wiring for the fogs, and a couple other things, at least in my car they did, My radio only has one plug, and the antenna, no wires for cruise control, or fogs inside the dash, or anything, it is kinda frustrating to me, but at the same time, I can deal with it.
